Bingley-based home shopping giant, Damart has announced it is to sponsor the Brighouse Classic Bowls Tournament for the fourth year running.
The competition, which is always oversubscribed, runs for nine weeks during the summer and sees a maximum entry of 128 bowlers taking part in the hope of making it to the grand finals in September.
Damart’s online merchandise manager, Claire Brown said: “This tournament is extremely popular and attracts the top bowlers from across Yorkshire and beyond, so we’re pleased to be able to support it again in the 2020 season.”
Secretary of the Brighouse Classic Bowls Tournament, Tony Riley said: “We’re delighted that once again, Damart has chosen to support us in this way. This is one of the biggest open competitions in the UK attracting some great bowlers and we wouldn’t be able to hold it without Damart’s support. This year promises to be a great tournament.”
