I feel really lucky to have worked with a fantastic team to look after our customers at Damart for a whopping 19 years. Time has really flown - honestly! I guess i'm a great advert for career progression as I started as a Training Manager, moving to Contact Centre Manager (which is my background) and am now a Director. I live with my partner and we've recently renovated our first house together which has been fun and hard work - I'm certainly in no rush to do another! Now I have a kitchen I enjoy cooking and gardening, which is a real passion of mine.
What I absolutely love about Damart is just how much you can learn and influence the business by having opportunities to be involved in lots of different projects - leading and being part of a variety of teams really does develop your skills & knowledge. You can be curious here, have a voice and try new things without fear of failure.
It's my job to keep the Voice of our Customer heard and to make sure that shopping with us is easy and, above all, memorable - this is critical to staying ahead! I believe, as the Institute of Customer Service tells us, that our service is 'World Class' and that we all deliver consistent, empathetic and fair experiences for our customers……..with a real human touch. It helps that I really like shopping!
Looking forward, I'll be making sure that we keep our fingers on the pulse of what is important to our customers, keep our passion and inspire everyone to walk in the customer's shoes.
