Quality Control Assistant

This  role will be a vital link between the planning and operation teams, ensuring production and quality standards are exceeded.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the quality and audit processes within the busy team which will contribute to the long term success of the departments.

The Role

 The main focus of the role is quality checking of product & maintaining 5S procedures within the working environment

 Conduct routine in-house audits with particular emphasis on quality (materials, machinery and operational issues)

 Recording data & reporting  findings to the business

 Offering admin support to the team as required

 General responsibilities of the role also includes; creating weekly dashboards & reports to allow for wider visibility and traceability of all mailings to allow any queries to be picked up swiftly

 Recommending  any training needs or machine maintenance that could improve on  quality; report and document any errors to assist accurate future planning and ensure continual improvement is foremost within the departments plans

 Assisting with approval pack process

 Stock checking

 Adherence to GDPR & legislation guidelines

Skills and Experience

 No specific previous experience is necessary for the role, we are looking for  hardworking, innovative and enthusiastic colleagues who are passionate about helping the business improve  and achieve great results.

 The ideal candidate will demonstrate  excellent written and verbal communication skills, be confident in liaising at all levels, be a strong team player with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment .

 A good understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial & full training will be provided for the right candidate
