Bingley-based home-shopping company, Damart, has announced three local sports sponsorship agreements for 2018 with Steeton AFC, Bradford Crown Green Bowls Association and Yorkshire County Green Bowling Association.
Damart has signed a sponsorship agreement with Steeton AFC, a football club local to Damart’s Steeton warehouse, which runs two senior and two junior teams.
Roy Mason, Manager of Steeton AFC said: “As Steeton AFC is looking to progress up the football pyramid, sponsorship and the backing of the community is crucial to keeping us going. We’re delighted Damart will be supporting us; this sponsorship agreement will provide enormous help and is appreciated by everyone connected with the club.”
Damart has also renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Bradford Crown Green Bowls Association for the fourth year, helping to support specifically the Bradford Pairs Merit.
Tony Riley, chairman at the Bradford Crown Green Bowls Association, commented: “Damart’s support has provided tremendous help over the past three years and its continued support is a major boost to the association and everyone who takes part.”
In addition, Damart has agreed to sponsor the Yorkshire County Green Bowling Association for another year, funding 2017’s league winners, the Ladies County Team.
Damart’s Head of Ecommerce, Ben Phillips said: “With more than 640 staff at our Bingley and Steeton sites, it is important to all of us to support the local community in which we work and live. We wish all the teams the best of luck and will be following their progress with interest.
