Yorkshire-based home shopping brand, Damart, has collaborated with Leeds-based charity, Heart Research UK to create a Happy Healthy Heart Cookbook to help raise funds for and awareness of the charity’s work.
The fashion retailer, which has supported the charity for almost a decade, has brought together fashion bloggers and food experts to create the downloadable book, which is packed full of heart-healthy starter and main course recipes that can be easily cooked at home.
Ben Phillips, Head of Ecommerce at Damart, said: “We’ve been proud supporters of Heart Research UK and the outstanding research they fund for nearly a decade. This year, as well as holding staff fundraising days and donating proceeds from products, we’ve also launched the Happy Healthy Hearts Cookbook.
“It’s been great to see so many fantastic bloggers and food experts come together to help create it and, with each recipe checked and approved by Heart Research UK, we hope our customers enjoy cooking from it as much as we did compiling it.”
Free to download, the book is designed to raise awareness of healthy living and eating and includes a link to give an optional donation to Heart Research UK, which funds pioneering medical research into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease.
