Bingley-based home-shopping giant, Damart, has kicked off the year by sponsoring the Bradford Crown Green Bowls Association for the fifth year running.
The sponsorship will help fund and support the popular Bradford Pairs Merit bowling tournament which sees keen bowlers from across Yorkshire trying their hand at taking home the trophy.
Tony Riley, chairman of the Bradford Crown Green Bowls Association, said: “We are so thankful to Damart for their ongoing support over the years. Without the sponsorship we would struggle to host such a great competition and we are extremely grateful.’’
Damart’s Head of Marketing, Ben Phillips, added: “We’re thrilled to be supporting the Bradford Pairs Merit tournament again this year. It is very important to us to support local clubs as many of our colleagues and customers live close by and enjoy partaking in events like this.
