The Out of Hours District Nursing Team at Lynfield Mount Hospital, Bradford
Bingley-based home shopping giant, Damart, has been showing its support for NHS key workers by donating sets of its famous thermals to staff based at the Lynfield Mount Hospital in Bradford.
Damart recently donated sets of thermals to a team of 30 out-of-hours district nurses from Lynfield Mount Hospital, to help keep them warm during their twilight and night shifts.
Ben Phillips, Head of ECommerce at Damart said: “We are all so grateful to the amazing NHS workers and everyone who works at Lynfield Mount for their heroic efforts during the current crisis. We wanted to show our support and thank them by donating sets of our thermals to help keep these heroes warm and comfortable whilst carrying out their vital work.
The company has also recently donated thermals to the COVID team and dental service based within the hospital.
Helen Barker, Community Team Leader of the Out of Hours District Nursing Team at Lynfield Mount, added: “The workload for our team is extremely unpredictable and understandably more stressful than ever. We are so thrilled Damart has shown their support for the team and helped to lighten the load in their own way by donating some of their famous thermals, keeping our staff that bit warmer and protected during these trying times. I can’t thank them enough for their generosity.”
