Bingley-based home shopping giant, Damart, has sponsored the Bingley Congs Cricket Club under 9s softball team for the 2022 season, as part of its continued support in the local community.
The sponsorship sees a board displayed at the club’s ground on Beckfoot Lane for one year to promote and support the club, as well as funding new kits for the junior team.
Damart’s online merchandise manager, Claire Brown said: “As well as supporting our charity partners, we feel it is really important to be able to give something back to the local community. We’re always thrilled to support local clubs like the Bingley Congs Cricket Club and see the positive impact of our sponsorship. We wish the team every success for the coming season”.
David Tarren, club chairman of the Bingley Congs Cricket Club, added: “Sponsorship from local business such as Damart is invaluable in supporting the work we do with our junior teams, we are very grateful to Damart for their continued support for the 2022 season.”
