Damart is delighted to be hosting REPLAY, welcoming local residents and communities to discover a mesmerising recycled play space as part of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
REPLAY, an immersive play installation built entirely from recycled materials, has been commissioned by Bradford 2025 and is open to the public from 14 October to 30 November 2025 at Damart, Bowling Green Mills in Bingley.
The space, designed and produced by The Herd Theatre, is part art installation, part indoor adventure playground, with design to ignite imaginations and a score composed from recycled sounds. Bradford 2025, The Herd and Damart are inviting under-11s and their families to come and play side by side and celebrate the joys of free play in this creative and unique space.
The REPLAY space will be open for bookable 60-minute sessions, including during October half term, at weekends and after school. There will also be daytime sessions especially for early years explorers aged 6 months to 5, sessions for home educated children and visits from local schools.
REPLAY is part of Bradford 2025’s year-long PLAY programme, a series of events and playful interventions that have previously transformed Damart Mill into a cardboard wonderland with Grue, an immersive dream-like installation inspired by the heritage of Bingley.
