I joined Damart as a Merchandiser in November 2016. Having been in my previous role for nearly 11 years it was a big step to move somewhere new but I was made to feel welcome from day one and have never looked back since. In my role I work closely with the Product team to plan our ranges and agree strategies for each season and catalogue. We work together to deliver a great range for our customers while hitting key KPI’s to drive demand and profitability. As a merchandiser I have to forecast how much we will sell of a style for each publication. Not always an easy task with an ever changing market and a switch to online sales. If only a crystal ball came with the job! I also work closely with the Inbound team to ensure we have enough stock available to service customer orders. What I like about my role is that there is always a new challenge. Things are constantly changing and we have to adapt to meet the needs of our customer and the business. We also have a great team of people working for Damart and it really is a friendly place to work. Outside of work I live with my 16 year old daughter and enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoying running to get myself outdoors in the fresh air.
