I began working for Damart in January 2013 as a Quality Control Inspector through an Agency and continued in this role until March 2014 when I was offered a satellite contract. At this point I began learning about other departments such as the Stock Office and Returns department.
I then got the opportunity to take on the role of Goods-in Administrator, which became a permanent role in June 2015. Although I enjoyed my job I noticed posters around site advertising for a Junior Section Manager position, which I successfully applied for.
In 2019 I have now been promoted to Warehouse & Replenishment Section manger, which is a new exciting challenge! What I love aboutworking for Damart is how supportive my managers and colleagues are.
They have encouraged me to build up my confidence enabling me to progress to higher to more exciting opportunities. Damart is not just a job its like being part of a family.
