About the Role


The Digital Marketing Manage will be passionate about all things digital and will be responsible for the delivery of the online sales plans through direct management of all digital marketing initiatives and ongoing website optimisation.


You will be confident with web analytics and continuously look for innovative ways to grow the online business and recruit new customers, as well as engage existing customers to the website via digital marketing media.



· Full responsibility for managing and identifying new digital customer generation, including PPC, SEO, display & remarketing and paid social media to deliver new customer targets in terms of new customer volume and cost per acquisition.

· Working alongside the recruitment manager and insight team to identify LTV by activity and form spend strategy based on a combination of volume vs. customer quality.

· Closely working with the web shop and retention team to ensure a clear strategy from recruitment to 2nd Order activation.

· Develop digital channel activity for customer retention; define spend, targeting and mechanics by channel to support customer repeat orders.

· Work with our attribution partner and technology to ensure optimum spend and return to satisfy both our brand awareness, recruitment, and retention objectives.

· Working alongside the wider commercial team, implement the trading calendar to ensure there is a dynamic and engaging customer plan, focusing on seasonality, content, and optimised offers / investment to maximise profitability.

· Provide reporting and analysis on weekly activity to the wider Commercial team to enable reaction to trade.

· Identify future opportunities / technologies to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing, thinking outside the box.

· Keep informed about changes to legislation and have responsibility for ensuring that all Damart customer campaigns are compliant and adhere to best practice.



· Paid media experience with ideally hands on management.

· Strong analytical and data mindset; experience of turning data into strategic actions.

· Experience of working with and managing external agencies.

· Good MS Office skills – especially Excel & PowerPoint.

· Ability to use reporting software including Google Analytics.

· Experience of writing creative briefs for designers and copywriters.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Excellent planning and time management skills.
