Machine Operator | Full-time | Steeton | Initial 3-month contract | AM shift (6am-2pm)

About the role

You will be required to work both as a team and individually at different times. It would be an advantage if you have experience of polywrap (SITMA) and enclosing machines (CMC) so please highlight this in your CV, if applicable.

 

You will report to the MAPS Operations Manager and some of your responsibilities will be to:

· Carry out basic machine changeover

· Work on high-speed production line

· Perform routine product testing and quality checks

· Effectively monitor production equipment

· Check specification

· Follow safety rules and regulations

 

Skills:

· Escalate issues straight to team leaders/managers

· Lead problem solving activities

· Support team to ensure continuous production of high-quality products

· Maintain a safe and clean workspace

· Learn to operate various machines and software

· Confident to follow training documents and machines manuals
