Marketing Executive

The Role:

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with a passion for direct marketing to join our team in the role of Marketing Executive. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support with the planning, development and execution of various customer contact & promotional test plans.

 

The day-to-day role involves briefing, proof-reading, providing specifications, analysis and administration of the promotional plan from creative concepts to results, ensuring cost and demand targets are achieved within deadlines. You will also support the test plan programme to secure demand for future campaigns.

 

Other responsibilities of the role include.

  • The implementation of promotional activity – from briefing through to print/go live.
  • Support with the timely production of monthly spend analysis versus budget, to manage in-season costs and remain in line with budget.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the performance of each promotional activity and be confident to make recommendations for future improvements.
  • Work collaboratively to introduce new gift incentives, managing the process around sourcing and stock management.

 

The role will involve cross-functional working with the wider commercial team, logistics and external parties and you will need to develop and maintain working relationships, ensuring all are briefed to execute campaigns effectively.

 

Essential experience and qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be creative with a commercial focus. Having some experience working with direct marketing techniques, including customer recruitment and retention would be advantageous either from previous employment or placement.

 

It is essential that candidates can demonstrate excellent analytical, numerical and report writing skills and are computer literate, particularly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

You should have excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail and be comfortable communicating and building relationships with internal and external customers.
